Position: People Data & Insights Analyst | 0.6 FTE (3 Days Per Week)

Skills and Experiences:
What You'll Do
- Provide workforce reporting, insights and trend analysis to support People Partners, leaders and operational decision-making across a national business.
- Translate workforce data into clear, practical insights across areas such as turnover, retention, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, workforce planning and employee trends.
- Support key annual people programs including WGEA reporting, remuneration reviews, workforce planning and Career & Capability review cycles.
- Help measure the effectiveness and impact of people initiatives, including leadership and capability programs.
- Develop fit-for-purpose dashboards, reporting and people metrics that support leaders to make informed workforce decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders across People, Operations and the business to strengthen data literacy, reporting capability and the use of workforce insights.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of HR systems, reporting processes and smarter ways of working across the People function.
About You
- Deriving genuine fulfillment from decoding statistics and helping internal peers understand exactly what the metrics are trying to say.
- Demonstrating an inquisitive mindset that naturally moves beyond basic data extraction to investigate trends and ask thoughtful questions.
- Pairing a meticulous eye for computational accuracy with great personal organisation when managing deadlines.
You’ll Likely Bring
- Experience in people analytics, workforce reporting, HR reporting, workforce planning or a similar people-focused analytical role.
- Strong capability in interpreting workforce data and translating findings into practical, business-relevant insights.
- Experience building reports, dashboards or visualisations using tools such as Excel, Power BI and/or HR systems.
- Confidence communicating workforce insights clearly to operational and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding workforce trends and people outcomes.
- Experience within HR, People & Culture, operational businesses, service industries or workforce-intensive environments will be highly regarded.
