About the role
As Advisor, International Partnerships, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening RMIT’s global education partnerships. Working closely with the Associate Director, International Partnerships, you will support partnerships across their lifecycle, ensuring excellence in partnership quality, governance, risk management, compliance and reporting.
Collaborating with stakeholders across RMIT and partner institutions, you will provide expert advice on Australian and international regulatory requirements, helping to deliver high-quality international education outcomes. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional with strong stakeholder management skills and a sound understanding of the international higher education landscape.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
International & Transnational Education Expertise
Strong understanding of international higher education, transnational education delivery, and global regulatory environments, with the ability to support successful offshore partnerships.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
Experience developing and improving quality assurance frameworks, processes and systems, with the ability to identify risks, analyse data and drive continuous improvement.
Compliance & Risk Management
Demonstrated experience managing compliance and risk in an international or regulated environment, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical guidance.
Organisation & Problem Solving
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgement, and resolve complex issues with a high degree of autonomy.
Analysis & Reporting
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information, identify key insights, and prepare clear, concise reports and advice for senior stakeholders.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build effective relationships and engage with diverse stakeholders across cultures and locations.
