Senior Hair Stylist – 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract

The Sass Collective is looking for an experienced Senior Hair Stylist to join our boutique Bayside salon on a 12 month maternity leave contract, working 32 hours per week.
We are a busy, established local salon with a strong reputation, a loyal client base, over 10,000 Instagram followers, and consistently full books. Our salon is known for beautiful blondes, lived-in colour, colour corrections, hair extensions, and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every client.

About the role
You will be working as part of our experienced team, providing high-quality hair services across colouring, blondes, styling, hair extensions and transformations. You will be supported by a friendly team environment, strong salon systems, and a steady flow of existing and new clients.
This role would suit someone who is confident, reliable, passionate about hair, and ready to bring their skills into a busy boutique salon.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience
- Strong confidence in blondes, foiling, toning and colour work
- Experience or interest in colour corrections
- Hair extension experience preferred
- Excellent consultation and client communication skills
- A warm, professional and positive attitude
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- A genuine passion for creating beautiful hair and client experiences

Hours
This is a 32 hour per week part-time fixed term position for a 12 month maternity leave contract.
