Leisure Inn Spires is looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-focused Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team on a casual basis.
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will play an important role in ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable and presented to a high standard. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team and understands the importance of creating a positive experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to required hotel standards.
- Change bed linen and towels and make beds.
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.
- Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise surfaces.
- Restock guest amenities and room supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public and common areas when required.
- Follow housekeeping procedures, cleaning checklists and safety requirements.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damage or missing items.
- Work efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests.
- Assist other members of the team when required.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Previous housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
- The physical ability to undertake housekeeping duties, including bending, lifting, pushing and being on your feet for extended periods.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and cleaning equipment.
- The ability to work independently when required.
