Site Operations & Maintenance Supervisor
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to lead a small on-site team and oversee the day-to-day operational and maintenance activities of the facility. The successful candidate will have a strong operational background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring service delivery meets operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Manage, supervise, and support a small on-site maintenance and operations team.
Allocate daily work tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficient service delivery.
Provide coaching, guidance, and training to team members as required.
Foster a positive, safety-focused, and productive work environment.
Operations & Maintenance Management
Coordinate and oversee day-to-day maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance.
Ensure all operational systems and equipment are maintained to required standards.
Monitor work orders, maintenance schedules, and service requests to ensure timely completion.
Identify operational improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the client.
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key client stakeholders.
Respond promptly to client requests, concerns, and operational issues.
Provide regular updates on maintenance activities, site performance, and ongoing projects.
Ensure client expectations and service level requirements are consistently met or exceeded.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate maintenance records and operational documentation.
Prepare reports on site performance, maintenance activities, and team productivity.
Assist with budgeting, contractor coordination, and resource planning as required.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in an operational or facilities maintenance environment.
Previous experience leading or supervising a small team.
Strong understanding of maintenance processes, asset management, and site operations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make operational decisions.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is desirable.
