Role Overview:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and professional collection and delivery of freight across the Adelaide metropolitan area. You will represent the company while providing excellent customer service and ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles in accordance with road laws and company procedures.
- Complete daily delivery and collection runs throughout Adelaide and surrounding suburbs.
- Load and unload freight safely, including manual handling where required.
- Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues.
- Ensure freight is secured correctly and transported without damage.
- Obtain proof of delivery and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when dealing with customers.
Requirements:
- Current driver's licence (MR) relevant to the vehicle being operated.
- Good knowledge of Adelaide metropolitan roads and suburbs.
- Ability to safely load, secure, and unload freight.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
- Ability to use GPS, delivery apps, and electronic proof-of-delivery systems.

- Accurate completion of delivery documentation.

- Compliance with all company and SunRoads operational requirements.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and providing reliable transport services across Adelaide.
Pay: $24.95 – $30.00 per hour
