Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technology Service Manager (ITMG Level 5) with a strong background in ICT Risk Management to support a large-scale, complex technology environment.
This role is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction and operation of risk management activities, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of ICT risk management frameworks, plans, and documentation. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate technology, cyber security, privacy, and operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
- Develop and maintain ICT risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain risk registers, risk treatment plans, and compliance documentation.
- Support audits, reviews, and assurance activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Risk Assessment & Analysis
- Conduct ICT risk assessments for systems, projects, and business processes.
- Identify and evaluate cybersecurity, operational, privacy, and third-party risks.
- Analyse risk likelihood, impact, and exposure.
- Recommend mitigation strategies and risk treatment controls.
Cyber Security & Technology Risk
- Assess security threats, vulnerabilities, and emerging cyber risks.
- Evaluate security controls against established frameworks and standards.
- Work collaboratively with security teams to support risk remediation activities.
Business Continuity & Resilience
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
- Assess the resilience of critical ICT services and systems.
- Participate in incident response activities and post-incident reviews.
Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting
- Prepare executive-level risk reports and presentations.
- Facilitate risk workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Present risk findings to governance committees and senior leadership.
Vendor & Third-Party Risk Management
- Assess risks associated with suppliers, cloud providers, and external partners.
- Review security and compliance obligations within contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance and ongoing risk exposure.
Essential Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- Minimum 10 years' experience as a Risk Assessor or Risk Management professional within complex ICT environments.
