Escola de Maes e Pais Tech is expanding our Australian operations out of our Brisbane CBD office. We are looking for an EdTech Data Analyst to sit at the intersection of our educational content delivery, user retention, and platform performance teams. Your work will directly shape how we understand user engagement, content effectiveness, and platform scaling metrics.
What the day-to-day looks like:
- Analyzing student and parent engagement patterns, completion rates, and platform usage metrics to identify drop-off points.
- Writing clean, optimized SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and build robust, automated reporting pipelines.
- Monitoring and auditing user acquisition, onboarding, and subscription data streams to ensure tracking accuracy.
- Collaborating with our product and engineering teams to design telemetry and tracking requirements for new educational platform features.
- Conducting cohort analysis and user lifecycle modeling to guide content strategy and improve platform retention rates.
What you need to bring:
- Analytics Experience: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on data analysis experience, ideally working within an EdTech, SaaS, or digital consumer platform environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong capability with SQL for deep-dive data manipulation and data extraction from complex backends.
- Visualization & Python: Solid experience building clear dashboards in Power BI or Tableau, alongside basic Python skills for data parsing or ETL operations.
- Product Literacy: A genuine understanding of digital platform KPIs like monthly active users, retention loops, and churn dynamics.
- Right to Work: Candidates must possess full, unrestricted legal working rights within Australia to be considered for this Brisbane-based role.
