Role Overview:
Join CAE's Navy Defence team as an Instructor, delivering technical training that helps prepare Defence personnel for critical operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll use your trade and technical expertise to facilitate engaging learning experiences across classroom, simulator, and blended learning environments. Prior Navy experience is highly regarded, although candidates from broader Defence and trade backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Description
Deliver instructor-led, blended, and simulator-based training programs for Defence personnel
Prepare, facilitate, assess, and complete post-course administration activities
Support trainee development by monitoring progress and providing feedback
Use your technical expertise to maintain and improve training materials and course content.
Work closely with Defence customers to ensure high-quality training outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications

Trade qualification in an electrical, electronics, or related technical discipline.

Previous Navy experience highly regarded, ideally within the Royal Australian Navy.

Defence, military, or technical training experience preferred.

Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or willingness to obtain.

Must be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and therefore be an Australian Citizen
Preferred Qualifications

Navy technical instructor experience.

Experience delivering training in a Defence environment.

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Background working with electrical or electronic systems.
