About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse & Facilities Manager, you'll play a critical role in the day-to-day operation of our Hampers Warehouse. You'll ensure inventory is accurate, stock moves efficiently through the warehouse, and production has everything it needs to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and processing inbound deliveries.
- Unloading trucks and containers.
- Checking deliveries against purchase orders and updating our ERP system.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, stock locations and warehouse transactions.
- Monitoring product use-by dates and working with Supply Chain to minimise waste.
- Supporting stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory investigations.
- Picking production components accurately using FIFO principles.
- Coordinating transfers to and from third-party warehouse partners.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
- Supervising and supporting seasonal casual team members during our Christmas peak.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce errors.
- Assisting with picking, packing, loading trucks and other warehouse activities as required.
About You
You're someone who enjoys structure, takes pride in accuracy and isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves. You're proactive, adaptable and enjoy working as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
You'll bring:
- A current Forklift Licence (essential).
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and warehouse or ERP systems.
- The ability to perform manual handling tasks and remain active throughout the day.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
- The confidence to train, support and supervise casual team members during busy periods.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.
- Experience working in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- A continuous improvement mindset with ideas to improve efficiency.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
