We are seeking a talented and results-driven Email Marketing Specialist to join our team and elevate our email marketing efforts to the next level.
Role Overview
As our Email Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, building, optimising, and reporting on email campaigns, SMS campaigns, and customer lifecycle automations that engage customers, reflect our brand voice, and drive measurable ecommerce revenue.
This role requires more than campaign scheduling. We are looking for someone with strong hands-on Klaviyo experience who understands how customer data, Shopify behaviour, segmentation, content, automation, and reporting work together to increase loyalty, repeat purchases, and revenue.
You will work closely with the Brand, Ecommerce, Creative, Performance Marketing, and Product teams to ensure email activity supports product launches, promotions, retention initiatives, and the wider customer journey.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute email and SMS campaigns to support sales, product launches, promotions, customer education, and retention initiatives.

Build campaign calendars in advance, ensuring CRM activity aligns with broader marketing plans, regional requirements, product availability, and sales priorities.

Design, manage, and optimise Klaviyo flows, including welcome series, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, checkout abandonment, post-purchase, review request, winback, re-engagement, back-in-stock, and product launch/waitlist flows.

Use Klaviyo segmentation, conditional splits, trigger filters, flow filters, profile properties, and dynamic content blocks to create more personalised customer journeys.

Segment audiences based on purchase history, browsing behaviour, product/category interest, engagement level, lifecycle stage, region, and customer value.

Collaborate with design and content teams to create visually appealing, mobile-friendly, on-brand email templates and campaign assets.

Write and edit compelling email copy that reflects the tone, style, and values of Lifely, Little Lifely, and Cushie while showcasing our products for maximum conversion.

Ensure email content is accurate for each region, including product links, pricing, offers, availability, shipping messages, and promotional terms.

Analyse campaign and flow performance across open rate, click-through rate, conversion rate, placed order rate, revenue, revenue per recipient, unsubscribe rate, and deliverability metrics.

Run structured A/B tests across subject lines, preview text, send times, content, offers, layouts, and segmentation strategies.

Maintain strong list health and deliverability through engagement-based sending, suppression management, sunset flows, consent best practices, and responsible SMS use.

Work with Ecommerce or developers to troubleshoot Shopify/Klaviyo data issues, broken product blocks, missing events, incorrect links, or regional content errors.

Stay informed about email marketing, CRM, ecommerce, Klaviyo, personalisation, and lifecycle marketing trends.
Requirements

3+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or retention marketing, preferably in ecommerce or retail.

Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo, including campaigns, flows, segmentation, automation, dynamic content blocks, reporting, and A/B testing.

Good understanding of Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms and how customer behaviour, product data, and purchase events connect into Klaviyo.

Experience building and optimising core ecommerce flows such as welcome, cart abandonment, post-purchase, winback, and re-engagement.

Strong understanding of segmentation and personalisation.

Ability to analyse email performance data and translate insights into clear improvements.

Understanding of email deliverability, list health, consent, unsubscribe requirements, GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and SMS permission basics.

Creative flair with excellent written communication skills and the ability to craft compelling, on-brand email copy.

Basic design judgement and confidence using Figma, Canva, or similar tools to brief or mock up email designs.

Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple campaigns, flows, and deadlines at once.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment and collaborating across brand, creative, ecommerce, and performance teams.

Experience using AI tools to automate email marketing process.

Experience with multi-region ecommerce campaigns across markets such as AU, NZ, US, CA, UK, or SG.

Familiarity with GA4, Shopify analytics or ecommerce reporting dashboards.

Basic HTML/CSS or responsive email QA knowledge.

Experience creating CRM journeys for high-consideration products where customers need education, styling inspiration, and confidence before purchasing.

Passion for furniture, interiors, home design, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
