Join our Allied Health team providing physiotherapy services across inpatient areas including Orthopaedics, ICU, medical and surgical wards.

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to provide orthopaedic evening cover once per week on a Wednesday (3-hour shift) in our acute hospital setting. This is a great opportunity to maintain and further develop your acute orthopaedic skills while benefiting from casual rates and after-hours loading.
About the Role
This dedicated orthopaedic evening shift supports post-operative patients requiring early mobilisation and respiratory management.
Key responsibilities include:

Mobilising post-operative orthopaedic patients (e.g. joint replacements, ACL reconstruction)

Providing respiratory assessment and treatment as required

Supporting enhanced recovery and early mobilisation pathways
-
Liaising closely with nursing and medical teams to ensure safe overnight care

Maintaining clear and accurate clinical documentation
This role offers a focused caseload and the opportunity to work independently within a supportive multidisciplinary team in a well-established acute hospital environment.

About You

AHPRA registered Physiotherapist

Experienced in acute orthopaedic physiotherapy

Confident working autonomously

After hour or hospital night cover experience is highly regarded
