Experienced Section Waiter – Casual
Melrose Restaurant & Rooftop Bar | Bulimba
We're expanding our FOH team and looking for an experienced Section Waiter to join Melrose, an award-winning hatted contemporary Pan-Asian restaurant in Bulimba.
Casual | Approx. 10–15 hours per week
We're looking for someone who can confidently manage their own section and deliver warm, attentive and professional service.
You'll be responsible for:
- Managing a section of approximately 5–6 tables
- Providing polished and genuine table service
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately
- Confidently presenting and pouring wine
- Maintaining strong food, wine and cocktail knowledge
- Checking in with guests throughout their dining experience
- Clearing and resetting tables efficiently
- Upselling naturally and making recommendations
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar and FOH team
- Maintaining Melrose service and presentation standards
About you: You'll have previous experience as a section waiter in a busy restaurant, be confident running your own section, have excellent communication and guest service skills, and hold a current RSA.
You'll need to be available for Friday and Saturday evenings, with additional shifts available depending on trade.
