You’re open to a change of direction and a new challenge.
You're all about the detail and this role will allow you to drive evidence-based decision making to optimise systems and efficiency, not just for the business but for our customers too. It's data and research with impact you can see.
In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a collaborative team delivering high‑quality analytical and reporting support to the Transport Planning branch.
This role will see you collect, validate and analyse project and performance data, develop dashboards and reports, support assurance and governance requirements, and continuously improve reporting systems, standards and processes to enhance data quality and transparency. You will build and deliver clear, insight‑driven reporting, enabling accurate, timely and evidence‑based decision‑making in a complex, fast‑paced transport planning environment with competing priorities and diverse stakeholder needs.

About you
Your analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills, formed across government, infrastructure, planning, policy, or data and performance roles, will see you excel in managing multiple reporting demands, maintaining data integrity across systems, and translating complex information into clear insights for decision‑makers.
You’re recognised as detail‑focused and trusted, skilled at developing dashboards, reports and briefings using tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Excel, and experienced in supporting governance and assurance processes, improving reporting standards, and working collaboratively to deliver high‑quality, reliable reporting outcomes.
In addition to the requirements outlined in the position description, experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (particularly Power Apps and Power Automate) and Power BI will be highly regarded.
