Company Overview
Our Australian team consists of approximately 50 highly skilled engineers, and it is expanding rapidly due to the growth of large-scale PV projects. As we enter into new opportunities involving substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), our central engineering team in France will provide support to ensure smooth integration and implementation.
In this role, you will report daily to the Production Manager in Australia.
Additionally, you will maintain frequent communication with the Project Manager, ensuring cohesive collaboration and successful project outcomes.
Position Overview
The Site Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities on site, ensuring that works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction Management
Supervise and coordinate daily site activities.
Monitor construction progress against project schedules and milestones.
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Assist in the planning and sequencing of construction activities.
Identify and proactively resolve technical and construction-related issues.
Technical Coordination
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Coordinate with design engineers and consultants to clarify technical matters.
Support the management of design changes and technical queries.
Verify that construction works align with approved engineering designs
Qualifications:
2-5 years' experience in construction, infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects.
Experience in renewable energy projects (solar, battery energy storage, wind) is highly desirable.
Experience working with contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
The position is based on site.
