Congress provides a comprehensive, holistic and culturally-appropriate primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including five remote communities, it is a strong political advocate of closing the gap on Aboriginal health disadvantage and a national leader in improving health outcomes for all Aboriginal people.
About the role
This role is open to either an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist, working within the Healthy Ageing Allied Health team to deliver culturally responsive, high-quality care to older Aboriginal people in Central Australia.
Services aim to support clients to maintain independence, mobility and function within their personal, family and community roles.
You will:

Deliver person-centred, evidence-based allied health services.

Support clients to optimise independence, movement and participation.

Work closely with clients, families and community to achieve individual goals.

Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team including Allied Health, GPs and Aboriginal Health Practitioners.

Provide education and promote self-management and wellbeing.
The role is primarily based in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), with occasional remote travel.
