Len Hollis Repair Facility, one of Sydney’s most respected and manufacturer-authorised body repair centres, is seeking an experienced and skilled Panel Beater to join our professional team.
Must have good overall knowledge in all aspects of the industry including structural repairs and aluminium repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using mechanical and hydraulic devices to align damaged vehicles and components back into shape.
- Hammering out dents from panels as part of the repair process.
- Applying plastic filler to fill any dents or depressions, followed by filing, grinding, and sanding the repaired areas to prepare them for painting.
- Welding to cut and join replacement sections, ensuring the structural integrity of the vehicle.
- Removing upholstery, accessories, and damaged panels or parts to access and repair the affected areas.
- Installing new or second-hand panels to replace those that are severely damaged.
- Reassembling the vehicle by fitting repaired or replacement panels and reinstalling body hardware, such as door locks and trims.
- Potentially assisting in the construction and restoration of custom-designed, vintage, and other specialty vehicles as part of a collaborative effort with vehicle body builders.
- Completing the restoration process by potentially spray-painting vehicles to give them a fresh, new appearance.
What we require from you:
- At least 1 or more years of experience.
- Cert III or IV in Automotive body repair is highly recommended.
- Strong metal repair, plastic repair, and body alignment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards
- Experience with late-model vehicles and manufacturer repair methods
- Current driver’s license

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
