The Australian Academy of Media is a registered training organisation delivering creative and vocational qualifications across screen and media, music, dance, community services, IT and leadership.
What you'll do
- Deliver hands-on filmmaking and videography training to students of mixed ability
- Guide students through production projects from concept through to final edit
- Teach camera operation, lighting setups and audio capture in real production environments
- Support learners to build a real body of work they're proud of
- Adapt your approach for students with diverse learning needs
What we're looking for
- Solid practical experience in filmmaking and videography
- Confident behind the camera and in the edit suite
- Strong working knowledge of camera operation, lighting and audio recording
- Experience with industry-standard tools — Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar
- The ability to explain technique without making it complicated
- A portfolio or showreel you're proud of
- Experience working with students with learning disabilities is desirable
Casual role with shifts available during the week to suit your schedule.
