Job Description
The Opportunity
We are seeking Enrolled Nurses to support our Mental Health Ward at Warners Bay Private Hospital. In this role you will undertake mental, social and physical assessments, treatment and deliver continuing care for people with serious mental illness in the Hospital inpatient setting.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

You Will Also Bring

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.

Successful completion of Enrolled Nurse Medication Administration education, with IV qualification.

A minimum of two (2) years' postgraduate clinical experience.

Previous experience working in a mental health setting, or a genuine passion for mental health nursing.

Demonstrated ability to undertake mental, social and physical assessments, and to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice.

A sound understanding of the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice and the ability to practise in accordance with relevant professional standards and registration requirements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.

Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Exceptional customer service, organisational and time management skills.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional approach.

A commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care and contributing to continuous quality improvement.

Flexibility to work a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays.
