Lux Joinery is a growing custom joinery business specialising in high-quality residential cabinetry and bespoke joinery.
We are looking for a Cabinet Maker to join our workshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys working on custom residential joinery projects.
The role will involve assembling kitchens, vanities, wardrobes, laundries, entertainment units, and other custom cabinetry. You will be working from joinery drawings, helping prepare projects for installation, and ensuring cabinetry is built accurately and to a high standard.
We are looking for someone reliable, practical, and quality-focused who can work independently when required and contribute to a productive workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, laundries, entertainment units, and custom joinery
Read and interpret joinery drawings and plans
Prepare cabinetry and components for installation
Check work for accuracy, quality, and attention to detail
Assist with problem-solving during fabrication and assembly
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workspace
Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
Support smooth workshop workflow and project production
Take pride in producing cabinetry that reflects a high level of craftsmanship
Skills & Experience
Experience in cabinet making
Strong knowledge of cabinet construction methods
Experience assembling kitchens and custom residential cabinetry
Ability to read and interpret joinery drawings
Good problem-solving ability
High attention to detail
Reliable and able to work independently
Strong workmanship standards
