Casual Cleaner – Domestic & Commercial Cleaning
Midas Cleaning Services is looking for a reliable and detail-focused cleaner to join our growing team.
This is a casual position building up to approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for more hours for the right candidate. The role includes a mix of domestic and commercial cleaning work across the Maitland LGA and surrounding areas.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is trustworthy, professional, and happy to work both independently and as part of a team.
No Weekend / Public Holiday work.
Hours of work may include:
Day shifts, usually between 9:00am and 3:00pm
Early evening commercial shifts starting around 5:30pm or 6:00pm and are generally between 2 and 4.5 hours long.
Evening start times are flexible to cater to individual needs.
Duties may include:
General domestic cleaning
Commercial office and amenity cleaning
Bathrooms, kitchens, dusting, vacuuming and mopping
Following checklists and client instructions
Completing end-of-job reports
Maintaining a high standard of presentation and attention to detail
To be suitable for this role, you will need:
A current police check, or willingness to obtain one
A reliable car and driver’s licence
A mobile phone with internet access
Good communication skills
Reliability and strong time management
A professional and respectful attitude in client homes and workplaces
The ability to follow instructions and work to Midas Cleaning Services standards
Previous cleaning experience is helpful, but the right attitude, reliability and attention to detail are most important.
This role would suit someone looking for school-hour work with some additional short early evening shifts, and who is interested in growing their hours over time.
