We are seeking a motivated and experienced Junior HR Administrator personnel to join our team.
Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented, professional and proactive individual to fill the role for Junior HR Administrator . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), and preferably previous experience within the disability support sector. This role will involve providing comprehensive administrative support. You will directly report to the CEO
This role is based in the office (NO WORK FROM HOME)
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring sufficient stock levels.
- Assist in the coordination of meetings and appointments, including scheduling and taking minutes of the meetings.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO including cross checking progress notes, filing, collecting receipts and document preparation as per requirement.
- Keeping track of receipts and petty cash.
- Hiring of Staff, posting job ads on job portals like indeed, gumtree and a few more sites, screening applications, scheduling interviews and drafting up employment contracts and ensuring essential work checks and visas are up to date and in place .
- Assist with the preparation of reports and other documents for meetings, Audits as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data protection policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Work well under pressure and be a quick learner.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in an administrative role.
- Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) preferred.
- Experience working in the disability support sector is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to upholding company values and principles.
- Prefer someone with a driver’s license.
