About the role
As Centre Director, you will take the reins of a well-loved service and lead it to even greater heights. You won't be doing it alone, you'll be supported by a capable Assistant Director, a strong Educational Leader, and a dedicated team who are passionate about what they do. Together, you'll continue to deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families while fostering a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to consistently deliver high-quality childcare and education
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, including enrolments, occupancy, and compliance
- Ensure full adherence to the National Quality Framework, regulations, and child protection requirements
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with families, staff, and the broader community
- Drive staff performance, professional growth, and a culture of continuous improvement

About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Centre Director role
- Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification)
- Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Proven leadership ability with a genuine passion for mentoring and developing your team
- Strong working knowledge of the NQF, EYLF, and childcare regulations
- Sound understanding of child protection frameworks and processes
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills
- A deep commitment to child safety, quality care, and positive outcomes for every child
