Senior Technical Consultant

We’re looking for a technically minded Senior Technical Consultant to join our team and provide high-quality technology solutions and support to a range of business clients.
If you enjoy solving technical problems, working with Microsoft technologies, strengthening cyber security and keeping business-critical systems running, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be working with
· Microsoft 365 – administration, migrations, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint and Intune
· Cyber Security – Microsoft security technologies, endpoint protection, MFA, security monitoring and best-practice implementation
· Sophos – endpoint protection, firewalls, security monitoring and threat management
· Networking – LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi and VPNs
· Data Backup & Disaster Recovery – backup solutions, monitoring, testing and recovery
· Ticketing & Service Management – managing support tickets, prioritising incidents, meeting SLAs and keeping clients informed
· Windows Server and cloud environments
· Troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues
· Client projects, system upgrades and technology improvements
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have experience in an MSP or similar IT support environment, with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Sophos, networking, cyber security and backup technologies.
We’re looking for someone who is:
· Technically curious and enjoys problem-solving
· Experienced with professional IT ticketing systems such as Zendesk
· Comfortable communicating with clients
· Proactive and able to work independently
· Organised and able to manage competing priorities
· Able to document technical work clearly and accurately
· Passionate about delivering reliable and secure IT solutions
· Keen to keep learning as technology evolves
Relevant Microsoft, Sophos or other industry certifications are highly regarded, but practical experience and the right attitude matter just as much.
