As a Disability Support Worker in Victoria, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Develop and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and services to promote social inclusion.
- Monitor and document clients' progress and any changes in their condition, reporting to relevant professionals as necessary.
- Encourage and support clients in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their independence.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role within the social care sector.
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and relevant legislation.
