About the Role
Tango Charcoal Chicken is looking for an experienced Cook to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality menu items while maintaining excellent food quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate charcoal grills and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control are consistently maintained.
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, salads, and side dishes.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen at all times.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work effectively during busy service periods and support the kitchen team.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Available to work weekends and evenings when required.
