As a Technical Director, Piping & Team Leader in our Industrial Mechanical team in Perth, you'll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineers solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
Lead piping engineering and plant layout design across major mining, resource, industrial, and water infrastructure projects.
Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise from concept and FEED through to detailed design and project delivery.
Review and oversee piping designs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, technical reports and engineering documentation.
Lead multidisciplinary teams through design development, technical reviews, risk assessments and HAZOP studies.
Mentor, develop and inspire piping engineers and designers, building a high-performing technical team.
Strengthen client relationships, support business development activities and contribute to winning and delivering complex projects.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, driving technical excellence, collaboration, and successful project outcomes.
Contribute to Service Group business plan and growth activities
Represent Aurecon throughout the complete project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction
Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and extensive experience in senior piping engineering leadership roles.
Demonstrated experience delivering piping solutions across mining, resources, fuel, water and industrial projects.
Strong technical capability in piping design, plant layout, hydraulics, P&IDs and engineering assurance.
Proven experience working across FEED, EPC and project delivery environments on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Established leadership skills with a track record of mentoring teams and driving technical excellence.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, proposal writing and business development capabilities.
