We're currently seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor for care and maintenance activities at one of Brightstar’s underground operations, the role will require routine checks of the underground mine and supervision for underground drilling activities on an 8/6 roster on a causal basis for 2-3 months worth of work.
About the Role
- Supervision of underground diamond drillers
- Dewatering checks
- Pump maintenance
- Mine site and camp inspections
- All other duties as requested by SSE
About You
- Experience in a similar role
- Statutory Underground Shift Supervisor ticket (updated to 2022 regulations)
- VOC for Integrated Tool Carrier (IT)
- Ability to work independently with strong problem solving abilities
- Past experience in supervising small underground crews
