About Role:
This is a key senior nursing leadership role responsible for the clinical, operational and strategic management of the unit, requiring extensive senior-level experience in the management of eating disorders within a specialist general adult mental health setting. The NUM will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to consumers experiencing eating disorders, general adult mental health, ensuring a safe, therapeutic and recovery-oriented environment.
The position works closely with the Director of the Eating Disorders Program, Director of Clinical Services and multidisciplinary stakeholders to drive service excellence, clinical governance, and continuous improvement, with a particular focus on advancing specialised eating disorder treatment models and service capability.
Remuneration:
On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $68.14 - $73.73 per hour + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD NUM level 1-4)
About you:
To succeed in this role, you must display strong knowledge in mental health nursing. You will hold a passion for patient care and a high standard of customer focused service in line with Ramsay's core values.
You will bring;

Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

Minimum three (3) years’ nursing experience as a Nurse Unit Manager with consideration given to candidates with equivalent senior clinical leadership experience within a hospital setting.

Extensive clinical experience within mental health/eating disorders setting

Post graduate speciality qualifications or working towards will be highly regarded
