About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Retail Store Assistant to join our team at our everyday, party, and gifting store. The role involves supporting day-to-day store operations, assisting customers, and helping with the initial store setup during the opening phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with store setup and merchandising during the pre-opening phase.
- Maintain visual displays and ensure products are well-stocked and presented.
- Provide excellent customer service and product assistance.
- Operate POS system, handle cash transactions, and process sales accurately.
- Support inventory management, stock receiving, and replenishment.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and aligned with brand standards.
- Assist in promotional setups and seasonal displays.
Skills & Requirements:
- Prior retail experience preferred but not essential.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during setup or peak seasons.
