About the Role
In this role, you’ll support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through engaging, play‑based experiences. Working as a float educator , you will support all rooms across the centre, assisting with lunch cover and providing consistency to teams and children.
You’ll work alongside a supportive team to create a calm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, confident, and encouraged to explore.
With set hours from 9am–4pm, this role offers great work‑life balance and consistency in your week.
Key Responsibilities
Support play‑based learning aligned with the EYLF
Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
Assist with observations and documentation
Work collaboratively within a supportive team
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and care
About You
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
Warm, caring, and relationship‑focused approach
Reliable and consistent
Passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
Strong communication skills
Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
Must have completed National Safeguarding Training
