An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse to join the Day Medical Oncology Unit at Northern Beaches Hospital on a temporary maternity leave contract with possibility of ongoing employment.

Where you'll be working
Northern Beaches Hospital Day Medical Unit
What you'll be doing
The Day Medical Unit provides ambulatory oncology and haematology services, including the administration of anti-cancer therapies, supportive treatments, and patient education in a fast-paced, patient-centred environment.
The Unit operates Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm (no shift work or night duty).
Previous experience in administering chemotherapy in an acute care setting is highly desirable together with willingness to undertake oncology-specific training and develop skills in chemotherapy administration.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
- A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
