About the role
Permanent full-time opportunity to provide high-quality occupational therapy services within the Caboolture Adult Mental Health Team. You will work with individuals experiencing complex mental health conditions, delivering assessment, intervention, and care coordination within a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed framework while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Deliver competent-level occupational therapy clinical services to consumers with complex mental health needs within a multidisciplinary team, in accordance with professional practice, ethical, and mental health standards to ensure culturally appropriate, consumer-focused outcomes.
Actively participate in the multidisciplinary team by providing occupational therapy specific clinical advice and education, and by contributing to the development of care plans and discharge planning to achieve optimal outcomes for consumers.
Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within the clinical service area and actively participate in quality and service improvement / research activities that enhance the delivery of clinical services and support achievement of key performance indicators.
