The Ministerial Support Officer, Ministerial Engagement and Executive Support Section, is responsible for a broad range of administrative support and assistance activities to the Attorney-General's Office (AGO). A key focus of the position is providing administrative support for the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS), managing administrative accounts for the ministerial office and assisting with outgoing ministerial visits.
Tasks may consist of (but are not limited to):

provision of PDMS technical support, including administration of user accounts, access arrangements and reference data

preparation of regular and ad hoc PDMS reporting
-
user Acceptance Testing of PDMS upgrades
-
managing accounts and invoices for the AGO, including dispute resolution and engagement with the office manager

managing assets in the AGO, including maintenance of asset registers, stocktakes and ensuring appropriate processes
-
quality control of meeting/event brief and speeches
-
providing ad-hoc support to the AGO and portfolio as required.

The ideal candidate for the Ministerial Support Officer will have:

the ability to deliver high-quality customer service, and be resilient, responding to quickly changing priorities

strong organisational skills and the ability to priorities tasks with limited direction

good analytical/problem solving skills

excellent oral and written communications skills

sound judgment in responding to requests and identifying points of escalation

experience with PDMS and providing technical support is preferred but not essential
