Job Description
As the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager – Events & Operations, you will play a key leadership role within our Food & Beverage team, supporting the delivery of exceptional dining experiences, weddings, conferences and special events.
Working closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Chef de Cuisine and wider hotel leadership team, you will bring our luxury service standards to life by leading from the floor, inspiring your team and ensuring every guest interaction is memorable.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the operational delivery of weddings, conferences, corporate events and functions

Lead and inspire Food & Beverage teams across daily operations, events and special occasions.

Deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with luxury service standards.

Partner with Sales, Events and Kitchen teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Lead service briefings, team communication and operational planning.

Coach and develop supervisors and emerging hospitality leaders.

Create a positive team culture built on trust, accountability and collaboration.

Support achievement of departmental revenue and profitability targets.

Engage with guests and clients to personalise experiences and exceed expectations.

Support labour management, operational efficiency and commercial performance.

Identify opportunities to improve service, revenue and guest satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with HACCP, WHS, Accor and MGallery standards.
Qualifications
About You
You are a passionate hospitality professional who thrives on delivering exceptional experiences and leading high-performing teams.
You will bring:

Demonstrated experience managing events, conferences, weddings or functions.

Previous experience in a Food & Beverage leadership role within a luxury hotel, premium venue or high-volume hospitality environment.

Strong knowledge of restaurant and banquet operations.

A natural ability to lead, coach and inspire teams.

Experience in labour management and financial reporting is advantageous.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
-
A passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences.
-
The ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment.
