About the role

Hazel Health is seeking General Practitioners with extensive experience in women’s health to provide remote consultations via our telehealth clinic.

Join us on our mission to close the gender pain gap. Hazel is Australia’s first all-in-one digital platform dedicated to providing comprehensive care for women and people assigned female at birth (AFAB), with a focus on gynaecological, sexual, and reproductive health.

From pelvic pain to painful periods, endometriosis, PCOS, menopause and more, we’re addressing the women’s health issues that have long been neglected by the healthcare system.

Featured in Marie Claire (September 2024) and Digital Health Festival, Hazel is changing the way women experience healthcare, for good.

What you'll do

Consult on your own terms and work remotely from anywhere in Australia.
Existing patient base and rapid growth.
Contribute to revolutionising women's healthcare through improved access to women’s healthcare with dignity.
Training, mentorship, events and opportunities to support your professional growth.
Work with our wonderful Patient Care Coordinators and nursing staff.
Be supported by the Clinical Director, Clinic Operations Manager, Tech team, Marketing team and Pharmacy team.
Collaborate with our Clinical Advisory Board comprising research, clinical and expert consultant staff.
Be part of a diverse team - we are proudly majority female, majority BIPOC and represent the LGBTQIA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and neurodiverse communities.

About you

We’re seeking a passionate General Practitioner who is:
‍

A fully qualified General Practitioner with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
Comfortable with managing a range of women’s health conditions.
A strong patient advocate.
Excited to work with an in-house team of allied health practitioners, including a naturopath, psychologist, sexologist, dietician, etc, as well as within an external network of referral partners around Australia.
Committed to building a more equitable and empowering future for women.
Sex positive, non judgemental, and inclusive.
Focused on a holistic/whole person approach to assessment and treatment. (experience and/or interest in natural/alternative treatments and medicinal cannabis is a plus).
Confident delivering high quality medical care in a telehealth (video) setting.
