Pelican Preschool is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Diploma Qualified Educator to join our friendly and supportive team.

About the Role
As a Diploma Educator, you will:
- Build secure, respectful, and responsive relationships with children and families.
- Contribute to planning and implementing engaging educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
- Observe, document, and extend children's learning and development.
- Create inviting learning environments that encourage play, exploration, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team of educators.
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children.
- Uphold the National Quality Standard (NQS), National Regulations, and Child Safe Standards in your daily practice.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or is working towards completion).
- Has a genuine passion for working with children.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is reliable, positive, and motivated.
- Has a strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child-safe practices.
- Is committed to ongoing professional learning and reflective practice.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards).
- Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Knowledge of Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting requirements.
- Must have at least 2 current references we can contact
- Must have proven work experience
- Available to work between the hours of 7am-6.30pm Monday to Friday
