Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel components
- Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Assemble fabricated components
- Operate workshop equipment including press brakes, bandsaws, drills and hand tools
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
Skills & Experience:
- Trade qualified Fabricator / Boilermaker or equivalent experience
- Strong MIG and TIG welding skills
- Experience fabricating mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Truck body building, trailer manufacturing or heavy equipment experience is highly regarded
