We are a well established business in the heart of Kiama.
After a solid 4 years of operation we have a new opportunity for an experienced person to step into a store supervisor role.
If you are looking for a workplace that is fun, rewarding and evolving then keep on reading…
A little bit about us
The store itself is a local boutique grocer (only small) with an attached espresso bar and limited quick and easy food offerings. We are extremely passionate about our local area and what we do; we hope you are too!
The space is in a great location within Kiama, so the work-life balance is at an all time high.
Our big belief is that if our staff are in an awesome environment with a great support system, the ability of our service is at its peak. This added with some fire tunes and great coffee and we are onto a winner.
A little about you
To be successful in this role you will have a passion for the hospitality industry. On top of this you’ll love working in a tight knit team where hard work and efficiency is necessary but the support network is strong.
Experience with specialty coffee is a big big plus, but any coffee experience is great too. You would also have had experience in maintaining stock levels, liaising with suppliers and staff relations- to name a few.
Customer service is always a priority. We understand that everyone’s personality’s are different and unique, so we are not expecting you to be someone you’re not, but we do expect the customer to enter a space that is welcoming and comforting. Our locals are a big deal to us, so they need to feel special always.
The Job
You’ll be proficient in coffee making, multi-tasking and managing people. This role involves wearing a lot of different hats. You will be working alongside the owner of the business as well as a handful of casual staff members that have been in the business since opening March 2022; so you have a lot of help and guidance to ensure you find your feet.
The hours are flexible, however, as a supervisory role we would prefer someone with availability 4 or 5 days per week. It is also essential that you are able to work 1 weekend day. Post a probationary feeling out period there is the option for a full time contract.
A big positive is that our opening hours allow great work life balance. You'll always be outta work and into the ocean by 3:30pm, what a win.
If any of this sounds like it might be the fit for you, please send your resume to [email protected] with a little bit about yourself and we will be in contact.
