casual educators to join our vibrant Outside School Hours Care team.
Based on the grounds of
Stella Maris Catholic Primary School in
Maroochydore, our service provides a welcoming space for up to 90 children before and after school and vacation care. With access to the playground and a focus on creative, engaging play, it's a place where children love to learn, explore, and connect.

A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator:
As an OSHC Educator, no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive and engaging experience for children before and after school. Your day may include:
- Providing nurturing care for children
- Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
- Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
- Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Opportunity to attend fun excursions during vacation care
- Feel excited to come to work to make a difference to the lives of children in our care!
Job Requirements:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines) or working towards would be desirable
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card) from the Queensland Government
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework and National Law/Regulations
- Experience in the education and care of children
- Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
- Completed Child Safety Certificate or willingness to attain.
