ABOUT THE ROLE
We're seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our Finance team on a 12-month contract, working 3 days per week at our Wangara office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional looking for flexibility, variety and the chance to work within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring Fleetcare's payroll obligations are met accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing monthly and fortnightly payrolls
- Managing payroll enquiries and responding to employee queries
- Preparing payroll tax lodgements
- Processing and remitting superannuation payments
- Payroll reconciliations and journal entries
- Maintaining payroll records and supporting compliance reporting
- Assisting with ad hoc finance and payroll analysis as required
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To be considered you will be a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys working accurately, meeting deadlines and providing excellent internal customer service.
You will ideally demonstrate:
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Knowledge of payroll tax, superannuation and payroll legislation
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Definitiv payroll software (highly regarded)
