We currently have a 6-month fixed-term, part-time opportunity is available for an Internal Communications Senior Advisor in our Leederville office.
About the role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference every day by developing and executing internal communication strategies and tactical plans that engage and connect our people. Working closely with leaders, you will be there to understand their needs and help them communicate effectively with their teams and across the broader business. This six-month, part-time fixed-term role is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of working three days a week and with a supportive job-share arrangement. What you can expect with this role
-
Provide professional communication advice, guidance and support to General Managers, Senior Leaders and project teams to aid the development of communication strategies, plans and key messages to successfully support employee engagement, change management and project initiatives.

Advise, guide and support the business to select the most appropriate channels, campaigns, events and materials to achieve their desired outcomes.

Advise stakeholders on best methods to deliver key messages across the business.

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal communications strategies and channels.

Manage the development and production of communication materials for internal channels, consistent with our brand, values, and aligned to our Thrive2035 strategy.

Liaise with employees in the Corporation, to ensure effective communication is undertaken with internal stakeholders impacted by projects.

Facilitate an effective working relationship between business units within the portfolio.
Your skills and experience
-
Tertiary level qualification in a relevant and related discipline.

Considerable experience in delivering communication programs and providing advice and support at a corporate level in a large service-based organisation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated by an ability to consistently produce clear and compelling information.

In-depth knowledge of available and proven communication channels.

Demonstrated ability to stimulate employee engagement, commitment and advocacy.
-
Demonstrated organisational ability and time management skills.
-
Effective relationship management and influencing skills and confidence in working with senior managers
