About the role
The Technical Support Officer is responsible for accurately entering, transferring, checking and maintaining data across a range of business systems and documents. This role supports production, quality and operational teams by ensuring information is entered correctly, consistently and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter data accurately into various computer programs and business systems, including MRP systems, production dispensing systems and LIMS systems.
- Transfer information from system records into documents, spreadsheets, forms, templates and reports as required.
- Review data for completeness, accuracy and consistency before submission or filing.
- Update production, laboratory or operational records in line with approved processes and instructions.
- Maintain electronic and paper-based records in an organised and traceable manner.
- Follow written procedures, work instructions and data integrity requirements when handling information.
- Identify and escalate data discrepancies, missing information or system issues to the relevant supervisor or team member.
- Assist with routine administrative tasks, including document preparation, record collation, filing and data clean-up activities.
- Support production, quality, technical or laboratory teams with accurate documentation and data handling.
This role is a full-time, onsite 12-month contract position
Skills and Experiences:
About you
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Confident using computers and learning new software systems.
- Experience with MRP, production dispensing, LIMS or similar systems is desirable but not essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures and structured processes.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage repetitive tasks with consistency.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling business, production or laboratory information.
