We are currently seeking professional and reliable NV1 Cleared Security Officer to join our team at Canberra. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable organisation that values professionalism, safety, and service excellence.
About the Role
As a NV1 Cleared Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of patrols, incident response, and client-facing duties.
Positions available: Full-time
Potential earnings / Award Level 5
Shifts: Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts
Key Responsibilities

Manage the arrival and departure of personnel on site

Maintain visitor and contractor logs

Issue access control passes, including visitor passes, as required

Access historical CCTV footage when requested by the ACIC Security team

Operate walk-through and handheld metal detectors

Provide a professional and approachable security presence

Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance

Identify and assess risks, taking appropriate action in line with procedures

Adhere to all site and company security protocols

Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

A valid Security Licence
-
Must have an NV1 Clearance

Ability to work a mix of day/night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off rotation

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded)

Good physical fitness, as patrols are required

Ability to work independently and follow procedures

Strong attention to detail
