About this Position
We’re seeking a highly commercial Key Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of multi-site and group customers. This role goes beyond traditional sales, focusing on contract management, pricing, and delivering tailored solutions across complex customer structures to ultimately drive account strategy, sales, profitability, and customer relationships. You’ll work closely with procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive growth, manage tenders, and build long-term, value-driven partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of key and multi-site accounts, driving sales growth, contracts, and profitability
- Develop and execute structured account plans, including pricing reviews, rebates, and quarterly business reviews
- Build strong relationships across customer networks, including procurement, chefs, and operational stakeholders
- Contribute to tender processes and negotiate outcomes with both customers and suppliers
- Identify growth opportunities through data analysis, reporting, and market insights
- Maintain disciplined CRM planning, call cycles, and follow-up actions to support account performance
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Experience in Key Account Management or corporate/FMCG sales, managing complex or multi-site customers
- Strong food service product knowledge essential (chef background desirable)
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, contracts, tenders, and margin management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across all levels and compliment the broader team
- Highly organised with strong planning, time management, and attention to detail
- Advanced analytical skills, with confidence working in Excel, PowerPoint, reporting, and customer data
- Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to manage a high-pressure, fast-paced workload
