About the role
Support people with disability to live safely, independently and in a way that reflects their own choices. You’ll bring calm, skill and sound judgement to meaningful moments, helping create stability, dignity and choice. If you’re confident working in complex environments and value genuine connection, this role could be a great fit.
- Provide on-site support to participants
- Respond to unplanned or short-notice support needs
- Experience supporting daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, mobility assistance, medication administration, manual handling, and delegated health supports
- Promote independence, choice and control
- Monitor participant wellbeing and contribute to a safe, supportive environment
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a small on-site team
Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is someone who has:
- Relevant qualifications in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Nursing, or Allied Health
- Experience working with participants with complex needs, behaviours of concern, autism, psychosocial, intellectual, and acquired brain injury disabilities
- Is willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications
- Has a valid P2 or Full driver’s licence, reliable vehicle, registration, and insurance (travel within the area required)
- Is willing to obtain a Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Screening, and has eligibility to work in Australia
- Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and strong boundaries, with excellent documentation and computer skills
