AWS Institute Pty Ltd T/A Australian Workplace Skills Institute (AWS) is seeking an experienced NSW Real Estate CPD Trainer to deliver compulsory NSW Fair Trading Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training for licensed real estate professionals.
This is a flexible casual/contract role delivering engaging, compliance-focused training across residential, commercial, strata, business broking, and related property sectors.
Delivery includes face-to-face and live online sessions, with ongoing work available for the right trainer.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver NSW Fair Trading CPD training to experienced industry professionals
- Translate legislation into practical, real-world application
- Facilitate engaging classroom and online sessions (Zoom)
- Ensure compliance with NSW Fair Trading requirements
- Assess participation and maintain accurate training records
- Conducting learner assessments and providing appropriate feedback
- Support continuous updates to course content and materials
What We’re Looking For
- Strong NSW real estate industry experience (current or recent)
- Strong knowledge of the Property and Stock Agents Act 2002, associated regulations, rules of conduct and NSW Fair Trading requirements.
- Confident trainer with strong facilitation and communication skills
- Ability to engage experienced property professionals
- Comfortable delivering online and face-to-face training
- High attention to detail and compliance accuracy
Applicants seeking to deliver the AML/CTF component must also demonstrate current knowledge of:
- AML/CTF Act and AUSTRAC requirements
- Customer due diligence and reporting obligations
Highly Desirable
The following will be highly regarded:
- A current NSW Class 1 Real Estate Agent Licence, Strata Managing Agent Licence, Stock and Station Agent Licence, or other relevant property-services licence.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, such as TAE40122 or an accepted equivalent.
- Experience delivering NSW Fair Trading compulsory CPD.
- Knowledge of AML/CTF Tranche 2 obligations, AML/CTF Act and Rules including AUSTRAC’s guidance material and AUSTRAC Starter Kit, policies and procedures
