We are currently looking for a full-time Farm Mechanic to join our growing agricultural business in northern NSW to look after the everyday maintenance and servicing of our farm machinery, including FWA and 4wd tractors, excavator, self-propelled boomspray, telehandler, work utes and various other diesel and small petrol engines around the farm.
The ideal candidate holds a relevant trade qualification; or alternatively has at least three (3) years of relevant mechanical work experience.
As a Farm Mechanic your everyday responsibilities will include:
*Undertaking scheduled maintenance of farm machinery;
*Detecting and diagnosing faults in engines / parts;
*Disassembling engines / parts for the purpose of checking and repairing them;
*Repairing or replacing faulty engines / parts, including reassembling engines / parts and
testing the same.
In addition, the right candidate will be required to:
*Hold a drivers licence;
*Be able to work in a team environment but be capable of performing the relevant tasks
independently;
*Be able to communicate on the go;
*Go about the job in a diligent manner.
