A full-time permanent position of Chef at North Indian Flavour, Sydney is available for immediate start. The candidate must have:
- Minimum 3 years full-time work experience in a similar role, knowledge of Indian Cuisine, ingredients and cooking techniques
- Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management, would also be highly regarded
- Proficient in the use of Tandoor oven
- A high attention to detail, initiative to get job done and desire to learn more and grow with a business
- Prepare and serve items of our menu to a high standard
- Ability to plan menus for different cultural/dietary/allergen requirements
- Ability to manage a small team of cooks and work as part of a team to create a safe and friendly work environment
- Must be able to work on rotating roster as well as work on weekends and on public holidays
- Ensure that food/ perishable items are stored in a safe and hygienic manner. In accordance with the food safety standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to cultivate strong relationships in a team based environment.

Salary with benefits: $80,000 - $82,000 per annum plus superannuation
