Join the team delivering Sydney’s next generation of Data Centres
We are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Sydney team, working across major Data Centre projects in Eastern Creek and Marsden Park - the Southern Hemisphere’s largest facility.
Project Management
-
Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Manage project schedules, resources and deliverables while proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact project performance.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams and technical staff to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Willing to support physical installations as required, including but not limited to fibre, copper and audio visual installations, splicing, patching and labelling, as well as testing and commissioning activities, where technical expertise or additional project support is required.
Client Relationships

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, consultants, contractors, architects and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Facilitate project meetings, communicate progress, manage expectations and ensure client requirements are understood and achieved.
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach that supports long-term business relationships and future opportunities.
Commercial Management

Manage the financial performance of projects, including budgets, forecasting, progress claims, project profitability and resource utilisation.
- Prepare quotations, tenders and variation proposals while ensuring commercial outcomes align with project and business objectives.
- Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities, implementing appropriate corrective actions where required.
- Contribute to project planning and solution development through equipment selection, scope review and commercial assessment.
Planning and Coordination

Develop, maintain and oversee project documentation, testing procedures and completion records.
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials and equipment to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in accordance with agreed timeframes.
- Manage procurement and logistics activities to support seamless project execution.
- Ensure project information is accurate, current and readily available to relevant stakeholders.
Safety and Compliance

Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety, quality and accountability across all project activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, client requirements and company policies.
- Identify, assess and manage project risks and implement appropriate controls to minimise impact.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to safe, compliant and high-quality project outcomes.
Qualifications/Experience:
-
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing communications, telecommunications, data centre, electrical or related infrastructure projects within a commercial environment, with fibre infrastructure experience highly regarded.
- ACMA/Open Cabler Licence or Electrical Trade qualification (desirable).
- Experience preparing quotations, tenders and project costings.
- Strong understanding of project planning, resource management and project financial controls.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Current Driver Licence, Construction Industry White Card and EWP.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance NV1.
